We are currently looking for a Facilities Support Manager, based at Broadford Hospital, Skye. The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility for the daily management of the facilities team within Skye and Lochalsh, which includes Broadford and Portree Hospitals, and Health Centres in Kyle, Dunvegan & Portree, ensuring Policies and Procedures are managed to meet legislation, ensuring risk management techniques alongside best practice within the area of responsibility are being met.
They will develop and maintain effective working relationships with local managers and other relevant colleagues to ensure a flexible client focused approach within Facilities which recognises changes in Healthcare provision. They will recruit, train, develop and motivate staff to deliver and maintain patient centred services, optimising the effectiveness of their personal contribution. Excellent communication and IT skills are required.
The successful applicant will require to travel to all NHS Sites in the local geographical area, a fleet vehicle is available for travelling to sites. A full clean driving licence is required, however access to economical public transport is acceptable.
