An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to take up the post of Service Manager in the Women and Children’s Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Service for Universal Children Services, the candidate will have operational responsibility for Children and Families health services which will include Health Visiting, School Nursing, and Family Nurse Partnership in the first instance.
The post holder will be expected to deliver the demanding priorities of services and will contribute to the management of the Women and Children’s Directorate as part of the Senior Management Team.
The successful candidate will require to demonstrate a track record of operational management and leadership skills to work in a specialised environment ensuring the highest standards of activity in partnership with other service leads. The successful candidate will also have significant experience in managing complex issues and challenges within a culture of continuous quality improvement.
