We require motivated audio typist to work within the Women, Children and Sexual Health Directorate based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, to help in the provision of a quality administration support service. The postholder will be expected to undertake professional and confidential duties within the Unit.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative with a minimum supervision. The ability to prioritise work-load is essential, along with an approachable disposition. It is essential that you are an experienced typist and be used to working as part of a team. You should be fully conversant with Microsoft Word and knowledge of audio typing and/or medical terminology would be a decided advantage.
In order to meet the needs of the service the successful applicant will be required from time to time to vary the pattern of working hours and may be required to work cross-site. The successful candidate will also be required to provide reception cover when needed.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
