We are looking for a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our established ward team at Broadford Hospital, Isle of Skye in a part time post for 23 hours per week.
Broadford Hospital is brand new facility. This is an exciting opportunity to empower and develop the nursing team to promote evidence based high quality nursing care. As a Senior Staff Nurse you will lead the ward team on a daily basis, coordinating patient care and management of the ward. You will work alongside the Senior Charge Nurse to manage patient flow and facilitate safe discharge.
Broadford Hospital has one acute inpatient ward, busy Emergency Department, and Out Patient Clinics. It also has chemotherapy and renal dialysis services.
Although this post is based at Broadford Hospital, the staff work closely with Portree Hospital. Our ethos is about providing health care for Skye and the surrounding area as one hospital on two sites.
