We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to our Secondary Care and Adult Mental Health Inpatient Psychology service.

The Secondary Care & Adult Mental Health Inpatient Psychology service covers psychology provision into the integrated community mental health teams (ICMHT) and Adult Mental Health Inpatient wards in NHS Forth Valley. This post will primarily be based within Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert but would require some travel between sites.

The post holder will support and enhance the psychological care of clients within the Secondary Care & Adult Mental Health Inpatient service by contributing to the assessment and treatment of clients, and supporting related professional activities, under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist.

The role covers the whole of Forth Valley but will be based at the Mental Health Unit, Forth Valley Royal Hospital.  We have made excellent use of technology options, but some limited travel may be required.  The beautiful scenery of the area often makes this a perk of the job!  Operational management of this post will be provided by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
