An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic & motivated Midwifery Team Leader, Band 7 to become part of the, Inner Moray Firth - Community Midwifery Teams based in either Nairn or Aviemore.
The successful candidate will be required to have overall responsibility for the day to day management of the Community Midwifery Team in Nairn & Aviemore and for the other Inner Moray Firth midwifery teams in the absence of midwifery team leads. The post holder will ensure appropriate management of the midwifery team including; resource activity and professional responsibility as an autonomous practitioner for the midwifery caseloads in the Nairn & Aviemore community midwifery teams. Furthermore this post will include the updating of clinical guidelines & the re-establishment of the maternity, neonatal & gynaecology clinical guidelines group.
This post will involve a 50% Clinical, 30% Management & 20% guidelines management responsibility split.
This post is 30 hours per week, fixed term for 1 year. It requires you to have excellent leadership and time management skills, be flexible and a good team player.
There is an on call commitment required for the provision of a Home Birth/Domino service within the Inner Moray Firth community midwifery teams.
A Full / current driving licence and use of own car is essential for this post.
