  • Marr – Aboyne /Alford/Banchory/Ballater/Braemar/Bydand (Huntly)/Torphins/Strathdon GP Practics
  • Kincardine & Mearns – Auchenblae/ Inverbervie/ Laurencekirk/ Portlethen/ Stonehaven GP Practices
  • Banff area – MacDuff and An Caorann GP Practices


We have exciting opportunities for registered pharmacists to join Pharmacotherapy teams working in areas across Aberdeenshire.  The post holders will join developing teams of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and be key to the ongoing provision of the pharmacotherapy service, managing prescriptions, providing quality patient care and cost-effective prescribing. 

The post holders will work within GP practices and local community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management and pharmacotherapy to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines in line with local and national guidelines.


You may have a community, primary care or hospital pharmacy background. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential as well as a commitment to learning and development.  Experience of working within primary care, medicines management and audit would be an advantageFull driving licence essential. Part time may be considered, minimum 3 days (22.5hrs).
