An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic nursing assistant to join the team within the West of Scotland Regional Heart & Lung Cardiology nursing team at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital as part of the Interventional Cardiology service.

The nursing team supports patient care within interventional cardiology and CCU wards, alongside the Cath Labs and associated Day Wards. The wards are a busy, demanding and rewarding clinical environment in which to work, dealing with patients undergoing coronary, structural heart, adult congenital and electrophysiology procedures.

This vacancy demands excellent teamwork experience with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Your personal qualities should include a positive approach and the ability to work effectively within the busy team. You should be able to demonstrate your commitment to ongoing development and the ability to adapt to the diverse and variable demands of caring for patients within the Coronary Care Unit. The successful candidates will work 12 hour rotational shifts across the full week.

There will be opportunities to work across the Interventional Cardiology Department within the Cardiology Wards and Cath Labs and Day unit. Shifts will be rostered across 24/7 days and nights.
