The Role
To undertake care duties for patients in support of and delegated by the Registered Nurse, within a hospital or community setting. The post-holder will require to work without direct supervision on a regular basis, referring to the registered nurse as required

What we'll need you to bring
- SVQ III in healthcare, or working towards, or equivalent experience working within a caring environment/role.
- Working knowledge of basic information technology
- To actively participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfil the requirements of continuing professional development.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience of working with people with long term mental health/LD problems
- Experience of working in in-patient setting
- Knowledge of the issues that can affect people suffering from long term mental health issues and learning disabilities
- Experience of working with individuals displaying complex and challenging behaviours
Contract Information
Permanent - Full time - 37.5 hours
Location and Working Pattern
This role will be based Kylepark Centre.
The working pattern for this role is flexible shift work including night duty, weekends and public holidays.
