We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Catering Management Team within Raigmore Hospital. 

The Assistant Catering Managers post will provide a highly professional and comprehensive administration for patient’s meals, Dining Room, Highlands Table Coffee Bars  and outside  catering functions, prioritising and allocating resources to meet the needs of the service, and admin support service for the Catering Department.
 
You will report to the Catering Manager on a day to day basis and  be the Line Manager for the Highlands Table Coffee Shop Team ensuring all staff are provided with training and development supportive to them which meets the legislative requirements and department needs.
  
Applicants should be trained to Intermediate Food Hygiene Level, if not training will be provided. You must have experience of supervising/managing staff and it would be an advantage if you have experience of working in a busy coffee shop or similar environment.

You must be computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Word.

You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment. 
 
Applicants must have good customer communication skills.
