What you will do:
You will provide Business and Administrative support to the Dental department which includes:- Dental management team, General Dental service contractors, Public Dental Service, Oral health, dental nurse training and Childsmile teams, providing expert knowledge and support.
You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining the development and provision of the administrative services across all NHS Ayrshire and Arran dental sites, ensuring implementation of NHS systems, to maintain effective support to all staff within these centres, management and clinicians thereby facilitating the delivery of effective patient care. You will have line management responsibility, providing leadership, training, management and advice to allocated administration staff within the service.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
- Educated to Degree level in Business Administration/equivalent experience
- Proven management experience working with personnel issues within a large organisation
- Project management experience
- An understanding of NHS financial systems and experience of budget management preferred
- Administration experience required
- Computer literate in the use of Microsoft Office software packages, in particular Excel, Word
and Access;

Hours:
37.5 Hours per Week
This post is a fixed-term / Secondment for 12 weeks.
Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
