A Band 4 Social Care Worker is required for the South & Mid Division based at Ach an Eas Care Home Inverness.   The Care Home provides health and social care in meeting the needs to vulnerable older people. The Social Care Worker role is a varied position working in a person centred way, promoting independence and providing leadership to other members of the team.

The role will include but not be exclusive to:

To input to and implement person centred support plans with people and to monitor, review and evaluate progress.

To ensure personal care tasks are undertaken with care and respect.  

Maintaining the dignity of service users is of paramount importance.

To contribute to the planning, monitoring and recording of service delivery. All work undertaken at the Care home is risk assessed and underpinned by the latest Scottish Government Guidance and Infection prevention and control advice.  PPE will be provided as required.

The successful candidate should be eligible for SSSC registration and hold or work towards gaining an SVQ 3 in Health & Social Care. There is also a requirement to hold or obtain a Personal Development Award in medication The candidate should have experience in a caring role and have relevant knowledge of the National Care Standards and the requirements of the Care Inspectorate.
