This is a part-time post of 26 hours with a shift pattern of 9am-4pm over four days, this is negotiable.

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.  


The post holder will support the Health Visitor in delivering care to families within the caseload/community to enable the health visiting to provide a quality service. The post holder will be expected to provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective service, responding to the needs of families in a variety of settings in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. Using a community development approach, work in partnership with colleagues, individuals, the local community, health improvement staff and other agencies to identify and address health needs. Essential requirements:
 NNEB or HNC in Child care
 2 years working with children
 Evidence of continuing professional development
 IT skills-word processing/email/internet
 Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
 Ability to work to deadlines
 Ability to work on own initiative
 Ability to work as part of a team
 Car driver
