Practice Education Facilitator, NHS Grampian (Band 6)               

Location: North Aberdeenshire HSCP – Office Base to be confirmed

18.75 hrs per week (0.5 wte), Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a part-time Band 6 Practice Education Facilitator within the Health and Social Care Partnership Practice Education and Development team, on a permanent basis. The post holder will cover North Aberdeenshire and, at times will be required to travel across Grampian.  

We are seeking a motivated, innovative registered nurse or midwife to be part of a team, led by a Lead Practice Educator, who together will be responsible for supporting pre and post registration training and education. They will also have the ability to work across NHS Grampian and engage with the nursing and midwifery workforce at all levels to implement change and support ongoing development of students, new graduate nurses/midwives and the nursing and midwifery workforce.   

Applicants should be a Nurse or Midwife with current NMC registration and; 

• Have extensive experience at Band 5 or above, in posts which included supporting, supervising and assessing learners and should be a current Practice Supervisor/Assessor

• Able to demonstrate an ability to motivate and influence change, using highly developed interpersonal and diplomacy skills
