Hardware Support Engineer – Hardware Maintenance Team AFC 5 NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) are recruiting an
experienced Hardware Engineer to join the Hardware Maintenance Team within eHealth. The Team’s primary objective is to deliver a customer focused eHealth technical support services including comprehensive break/fix support to all eHealth PC/Laptops and peripherals for Customer devices within NHSGGC. These duties can be performed desk-side, remotely or in a dedicated workshop environment.  The team’s additional objectives include deployment of specialist applications within the eHealth environment and the support of a Device Replacement programme as well as assisting other eHealth Teams in the support and delivery of effective and efficient IT services across NHSGGC.  The post-holder will participate in most team roles and will work within a rota system for covering different sites / groups of sites, depending on workload and involvement in Strategic Objectives. The post-holder must have a combination of customer engagement skills, relevant technical education and qualification and demonstrable IT experience within the specialist area
