The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced Personal Assistants (PAs) to join our Corporate Services administration team based at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Board Head Quarters.
These full time post presents exciting and unique opportunities to join NHS Scotland’s largest Health Board where the successful candidates will provide high quality, confidential and efficient PA/Secretarial support to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Corporate Management Team.

The Role
The responsibilities attached to the roles are highly varied and include complex diary and e-mail management, arranging internal and external meetings, minuting meetings, preparing briefing papers to ensure priorities are appropriately organised.
Our Corporate Services Department has a key role managing the day to day administrative business across a wide range of Corporate functions ensuring that there is a constant prioritisation of both theirs and the Corporate Management Team workload.
The ability to build good working relationships with senior colleagues is a prerequisite for both roles.
We are seeking to appoint two exceptional candidates
We are looking for candidates who will come with previous experience as a PA at Director/Board level, be able to work autonomously and have outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage complex and ever changing priorities, the ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and work to short deadlines is essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal along with personal resilience and remaining calm under pressure are essential as is the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels and work effectively as part of a team of highly motivated PAs.
The post demands advanced IT skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and evidence based secretarial skills.
