The West of Scotland Division of the Scottish Breast Screening Programme is responsible for the identification, screening, assessment and onward referral of eligible women resident in Greater Glasgow, Argyll and Clyde, Lanarkshire and Forth Valley Health Board areas.  The service comprises of a static centre at Nelson Mandela Place and 7 mobile units.  All administrative duties are dealt with through our static site at Nelson Mandela Place.  We invite all ladies aged between 50 to 70 years.  It takes approximately 3 years to cover the West of Scotland with an estimated 400,000 invites being made.  You will arrange and allocate extended working day workload across designated staff on shift and facilitate administrative staff meetings.  You will implement staff training, procedures and systems within the department and maintain staff training & assessment records.  You will identify capability or procedural issues and respond appropriately whilst ensuring that unxpected issues that may arise throughout the working day are dealt with.   Once trained you will supply extended working day supervision and support to administrative staff..You should have an HNC/NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience and have relevant experience  preferably within the NHS working in a similar role in a busy office environment.  This post is offered on a 22.5 hour basis, Tuesday – Thursday with the expectation being that you will provide lockup of offices across these days.  Hours of work will range within 08:00 and 20:00.
