2-year Fixed Term / Secondment Opportunity 

NHS Lothian Pharmacy Services is looking for a forward thinking practitioner to lead the development of the Lothian Joint Formulary www.ljf.scot.nhs.uk  

In this post, you will lead, develop and promote evidence based clinical and cost effective use of medicines in Lothian. Your key responsibilities will relate to the development and maintenance of the Lothian Joint Formulary. You will work closely with the Lothian Formulary Committee and with other groups and committees to ensure that the LJF reflects current evidence and practice, and contribute to the managed introduction and local appraisal of new medicines.

You will be an experienced, highly organised, self motivated team player with excellent communication skills. You will have a postgraduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or related health science.
