Salary scale £96,963 to £128,841 per annum (pro rata for part time practitioners)
Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership provides care across four localites and 23 inhabited islands. It includes social care services and all health services, including commissioned and contracted services from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Within Scotland, Argyll and Bute is one of the most delegated partnerships, meaning that more services are integrated and provided directly by the HSCP. We have a highly localised system, with services close to people’s homes, across a very complex geography. A network of GP led non-bypass community hospitals is a key and unique feature of this system. Good clinical leadership is essential to the function of this.
This post is a key part of our clinical leadership structure within Argyll & Bute HSCP, focussing on the Mid Argyll locality. The post holder is a key liason and communication role between the local practices and the HSCP, representing the views and needs of their area in HSCP context.
The clinical lead should be a local role model and have a key role in maintaining clinical standards and quality improvement as local clinical governance lead.
