A vacancy has arisen for an experienced registered physiotherapist, registered nurse or occupational therapist to work within the orthopaedic research support team at the Golden Jubilee Research Institute.
The role provides the critical link between the research team and participants in research projects within the orthopaedic portfolio. In addition to specialist experience in elective arthroplasty, applicants must be able to perform musculoskeletal examinations and have a working knowledge of skeletal anatomy. The successful applicant will be expected to perform motion analysis sessions with patients following suitable training. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the Senior Orthopaedic Research Co-ordinator and will work across the wide ranging portfolio of orthopaedic research projects with the multi-disciplinary team that supports them.
The post is for a fixed term of 6 moths covering 18.75 hours per week over 5 days. There is an expectation of flexibility as required to meet the needs of the service
