The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is the home to the West of Scotland Regional Heart and Lung Centre and has an extended Orthopaedic Surgery programme. The Pharmacy Department has an excellent record in staff development, supporting training courses including Scottish Hospital Pharmacist Stage 2, MSc in Clinical Pharmacy, Non-Medical Prescribing courses and Dispensary Checking Technician Certificates as well as SVQ’s in management.
This is an exciting time to join our Pharmacy team as we develop our clinical services and try innovative ways of working. Successful applicants will be a registered technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council and will assist in the provision of technical pharmaceutical services in particular within the dispensary to dispense discharge, out-patient and clinical trial prescriptions and at ward level supporting our medicines management service.
