NHS GREATER GLASGOW AND CLYDE WESTMARC Prosthetics Technician – Advanced (Band 5) You will require to work as part of a team responsible for the manufacture and repair of Custom-built Prosthetic limbs within the West of Scotland. You will be educated to HNC in a relevant engineering or craft discipline or have an equivalent level of knowledge and skills. You will have substantial experience working as a Prosthetic Technician and must be familiar with all the manufacturing techniques typically used in a prosthetic workshop. Must be fully conversant in the use of equipment required to manufacture and adjust prostheses. Good time management, problem solving and communication skills are essential.
