We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. 

There are two full-time posts available. This is a community post and the shift pattern is 9-5 Monday to Friday.  The post is based in East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership and the team will provide a service across GGC.

It is essential that you are currently a Registered Learning Disability Nurse with the NMC and that you have relevant professional experience for this post.

A current driving licence is essential for this position.

You will have a key role in contributing towards the delivery of health checks across GGC for adults with a learning disability.  You will provide specialised clinical expertise, knowledge and skills in the promotion and maintenance of adults with learning disabilities.  You will function as an autonomous practitioner in a dynamic ‘joint future’ service providing person centred health care.  You will work in partnership with service users, carers, service providers and partner agencies and services promoting the principles of social inclusion.
