The shift pattern is day shift / night shift . 12 Hour shifts.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the nursing team in the Major trauma Ward at QEUH caring for in-patients admitted to the Major Trauma centre, from across the West of Scotland, with a variety of traumatic injuries

As part of a multidisciplinary team you will provide care to patients in support of the trained nurses and will regularly work unsupervised. You will support trained staff in the provision of direct patient care, use of IT systems and with housekeeping duties as required.

It is essential you have good organisation and communication skills with the ability to work within a team. Previous HCSW experience is essential and experience at band 3 in a relevant speciality is desirable. Healthcare qualification would be an advantage. This post requires PVG Scheme Membership

Hours are 37.5 hours per week full time, working a 12 hour shift pattern over day and night shifts, including weekend and public holiday cover.
