SCOTTISH GRADUATE ENTRY MEDICINE (SCOTGEM) YEAR 3 GENERALIST CLINICAL MENTOR (GCM)
2 Posts 1 session per week each; 1 West Fife, 1 East Fife, Fixed Term for 23 months
The core of the ScotGEM programme in year 3 is the Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) during which 8 students will be hosted for 40 weeks in individual Fife GP practices. The post holder will be responsible for: supporting GP tutors as a link between GP practice/ NHS Fife/ the University of Dundee; mentoring and supervising students through their Agents of Change projects; carrying out weekly tutorials and playing a key role in formative and summative assessment.
