SPECIALTY DOCTOR IN PAEDIATRICS          

Based at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness

Salary £58,198 - £90,688 pro rata/per annum

We are delighted advertise this exciting opportunity for a hard-working, enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join our team within Medical Paediatrics at Raigmore Hospital. The successful applicant will work on the Tier 2 (middle grade) rota and be supported by consultant colleagues whilst helping deliver all aspects of paediatric care in a busy district general hospital setting.  Your duties will include General Paediatrics (Paediatric Assessment Unit, Paediatric Ward including HDU, Paediatric Outpatients) and Neonatal Medicine (Level 2 neonatal Unit).


Applicants must have completed a minimum of 2 years full time postgraduate training in Paediatrics (or equivalent), and have experience working on a paediatric middle grade rota.


Whilst this is a non-training post, we are a paediatric training hospital actively involved in teaching and training of paediatric doctors. You will have the opportunity and be encouraged to develop new skills whilst maintaining existing special skills and interests. There will be opportunities to participate in clinical governance activities including audit and guideline development. We have a strong track record of working with specialty doctors and helping them develop specialty interests within our team.
