Exciting career progression opportunities have arisen within our Vaccination Team.  Flexibility is required as this role includes working weekends and evenings.  The post is based across Ayrshire and there is a requirement to working as a cohesive team across the whole of Ayrshire.  You will support the Vaccination Team Leader in ensuring a cohesive multidisciplinary approach in the delivery of safe and effective vaccinations.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You will be a registered nurse with continued professional development a relevant post graduate qualification and current NMC registration.

You will be an experienced practitioner with a thorough knowledge of immunisation practice standards and implementation with an awareness of regional and national context.  You will have the ability to demonstrate a high level of vaccination practice and understanding of partnership working, care and protection of children/adults, community and public involvement, proven leadership/management skills, including interpersonal, networking, influencing, and negotiating skills, needs assessment, and monitoring.

As an individual you will have excellent communication and social skills who works well with and through a range of multi-disciplinary team members to achieve high quality of person-centred vaccination delivery.   Your natural style as an integrated leader of people with strengths of empathy diplomacy and a passion to maintain high standards will equip you for this role.

Hours:

37.5 hours Annualised 9 month contract.
