NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week with a rotational shift pattern of Mon-Sun, 8am-4pm.
Local site manager post based at Glasow Royal Infirmary stores
- The Local Site Manager assists the Multiple Site Manager in their responsibity for the day to day operation and supervision of the Stores & Logistics Team within GRI .
- The post holder will ensure that the stores are operated in a highly efficient and professional manner by ensuring that all goods are receipted, stored, and distributed in line with best practice and to meet end user requirements.
- Ensuring the Ward Product Management service is managed accordingly to departmental and national standards.
- The prime aim of the post holder is to ensure that the Department’s Procurement Strategy is fully implemented with maximum efficiency of resources, with a focus on value added activities and with the achievement of maximum levels of value for money.
- To provide training and first line supervision to the Stores & Logistics Team based within the operational site , to ensure the provision of an efficient and professional service to GG&C and its departments.
