We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking team player to lead an integrated community mental health team within the Health and Social Care Partnership, Falkirk. The team provide mental health assessment, treatment and specialist mental health care across and the post will be based at Woodlands Resource Centre, Falkirk Community Hospital. The post holder will be integral to delivering a person centred, sustainable and high quality service. This exciting post requires effective professional leadership and a clinical expertise to support the integrated community mental health team to deliver care and treatment to those living in our communities and experiencing mental ill health. The team comprises of community psychiatric nurses who work across the community in addition to a group of staff nurses and HCSW’s who deliver a specialist psychological group work programme in addition to a busy health maintenance service.
The post holder will be a registered mental health nurse with significant post registration experience and can demonstrate continued professional development. Experience working at band 6 level and/or working in a community mental health setting would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills and a good knowledge of managing change are essential. Evidence of leadership and managerial development training should have been attained to support this post. Enthusiasm and motivation to develop and maintain good practice and foster good relationships across our community services other agencies is essential.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
