Pharmaceutical Services Improvement and Development Manager – Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate
Band 8B - (£67,285 - £71,978 per annum)
Full time 1wte (Part time or flexible hours would be considered for the right candidate)
We currently have a vacancy for the post of Pharmaceutical Services Improvement & Development Manager within the Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate, NHS Grampian.
The post provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to lead and support the development and delivery of safe, effective, efficient, patient centered pharmaceutical care to the population of NHS Grampian.
This post is ideally suited to registered pharmacists or technicians with a strong track record in developing community pharmacy services with an emphasis on professional leadership, strong clinical and corporate governance with the ability to operate strategically whilst making sure the little details are right. The role is varied and broad in scope so would suit an experienced confident individual who can inspire the confidence of others and provide authoritative advice and guidance.
The post is based in the Pharmacy and Medicines Directorate, Westholme, Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen but does involve travel within Grampian and attendance at national meetings. You will be responsible for a small friendly team of staff with an opportunity to further shape the team through recruitment and development.
