FIXED TERM 12 MONTH CONTRACT (Maternity Cover)

To provide an efficient and effective means of identifying and assessing patients with alcohol problems presenting to acute hospital services and provision of appropriate intervention. This involves assessing, planning, treating and discharging patients under supervision. The post holder will also maintain a supervised caseload of patients with dual disorders (alcohol/mental health). To represent the unit on professional committees and support the lead alcohol liaison nurse.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
