An opportunity has arisen for full time Charge Nurse to work in the Surgical Admission Unit (previously known as Theatre Admission Suite (TAS), Ninewells Hospital. All surgical specialities utilise this Unit for pre-operative patients and will care and support our surgical day cases post-operatively. This is primarily a nurse led unit.
You will work within a clinical team that value patient safety and delivery of safe, effective high-quality care within a surgical environment. You should be committed to providing a high standard of professional nursing care.
You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to improving standards of patients care. The post holder will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the unit and will act as clinical expert to ensure the promotion and delivery of high-quality patient care.
We are looking for an innovative individual to work as part of the Nursing Team; post registration experience working in an acute or related environment is desirable. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required, as is the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and evidence of continuous professional development.
Candidates must be registered on either Parts RN1, RNA or RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
