The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Promotion Officer (nutrition) to join Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service. This post will lead on the review and refresh of our Eat Well Play Well (EWPW) programme.

EWPW is a well-established and respected programme which has been delivered in some capacity across Tayside since 2013. It is a tier 1, targeted/universal programme delivered by a range early years staff.

The refresh will aim to update the programme content to reflect up to date evidence and a more holistic approach to health and wellbeing e.g. sleep, dental health, unhealthy weight

whilst considering current issues affecting families such as cost of living.

The post holder will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to work autonomously to project manage this piece of work. The post holder will have experience of nutrition related health improvement work and community related engagement skills.

The post will be based in Perth Royal Infirmary but there is an expectation that the post holder will work with partners and families across Tayside.
