The shift pattern for this position is between the hours of 08.30-16.30.

Within South Sector the AHP teams work together supporting each other to ensure we produce high quality care for our patients.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 occupational therapist to join the acute medical / front door team on a full time permanent basis.
It is essential that you are educated to Diploma/Degree level in occupational therapy while being registered with HCPC. You should have significant post graduate experience with previous clinical experience in acute medical wards.
This post involves a complex and varied caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning. You will be clinically responsible for rotational staff, support worker staff and students, inducting, training and managing staff on a daily basis. You will lead/participate in service development and service change within the team. You will be actively encouraged to develop through your 4 pillars of practice while participating in CPD, audit and research.
This post is currently worked over 5 days however may require the post holder to participate in seven day working.
Shift pattern could be discussed with successful candidate.
