An exciting opportunity has arisen in NHS Highland’s Forensic Services for a full time 8B Clinical Forensic Psychologist.
You will be an active member of the wider Psychological Services within NHS Highland whilst working primarily in the Forensic Mental Health specialty. The Forensic Service provides a specialist mental health service for mentally disordered offenders, and those individuals otherwise involved with the Criminal Justice System.
You will have a post-graduate Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology as well as a post graduate qualification in forensic psychology meeting the requirements for eligibility to register as a chartered clinical psychologist with the BPS and registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist.
You would be joining NHS Highlands at a time of exciting and positive changes within its wider Mental Health Service. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and driven clinician to help us achieve our ambition to provide an effective and timely service to those trying to access it. You will have strong but compassionate leadership skills to help you develop the psychological aspects of the forensic services. Continued Personal Development (CPD) and training will be encouraged.
