We are delighted to announce exciting opportunities available within the mental health services, in NHS Forth Valley. We are looking for applicants who have an interest to work within our inpatient wards.
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, caring and compassionate individuals who are keen to work within a mental health inpatient setting. The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and should possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
The role of the Clinical Support Worker is wide and varied and will support the delivery of care under the direction of registered mental health nurses. Please see the job description for further details of the role.
The successful candidate should be committed to the provision of high quality, patient focused care; have a flexible approach to service needs and a genuine interest in working with patients within a mental health setting.
Essential requirements
- Previous care experience. This can be in health, social care or private sector
or
- Relevant qualification. This can range from health, social care or psychology qualification at SVQ level III or equivilant.
The current shift pattern is core shifts (early, late and night shift). We are currently consulting with staff regarding the potential option of offering long days (12.5 hour day or night shifts). You will have the opportunity to discuss this at interview.
