An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 ambitious and dynamic Senior Marketing and Communications Officers to join our growing team and support the expansion of national services across NHS Golden Jubilee.

Working across the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, Research Institute and Conference Hotel as well as the Centre for Sustainable Delivery and NHS Scotland Academy, these posts are ideally suited to people who enjoy a varied, project-based role, have excellent planning and organisation skills, and can deliver multiple projects at one time to attain clear results.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Devise and deliver multi-channel customer-focused marketing and communication campaigns and plans.
  • Develop and implement effective systems to collect, monitor and evaluate marketing, communications, media and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Research, write, and disseminate high quality creative, innovative and powerful communications for a wide range of audiences and platforms, ensuring they meet plain English and accessibility standards.
  • Regular contact with media and internal spokespersons on a wide range of proactive and reactive media stories.
  • Coordinate and evaluate high profile/VIP events, press conferences, photo calls and media events, and
  • Assist the Marketing and Communications Manager in the supervision and overseeing of the team and ensuring resources and time are appropriately allocated, prioritised and planned.

Key skills we need:

  • Experienced in a multi-channel marketing and communications role.
  • Strong marketing and communication campaign skills, both on and offline.
  • Experience of researching, evaluating and assessing the success of key performance indicators across a range of platforms.
  • Ability to oversee both your own and others’ workload, providing support and cover to the Marketing and Communications Manager as required.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in use of marketing, media and communications databases and customer relationship management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills including effective work planning for self and effective compliance with all organisational processes.
  • Proven ability to work and contribute effectively within and across teams.
  • Fresh and innovative ideas.
