Fixed term until 31st March 2024

We are seeking a Health Protection Nurse to work within the Health Protection Team on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2024.  You will be based in the Department of Public Health at Cameron House and work closely with Health Protection Nurse Specialists and Consultants in Public Health Medicine.

You must be registered as a nurse/midwife on the NMC register, have a relevant first level degree and be able to demonstrate evidence of post-registration qualifications and further professional development. You must be willing to undergo further training to advance your skills and knowledge in the field of health protection.

You must have extensive post-registration experience. Community experience, and practical experience in the field of Public Health Nursing/Infection Control is desirable, experience in communicable disease and TB control would be advantageous.

You must have good analytical, judgemental, communication and computer skills including HP Zone.  Being able to travel efficiently throughout Fife, and work autonomously and in a team are essential.  You should be self-motivated and innovative.
