Bank Healthcare Support Workers (Learning Disabilities)
Band 2 £23,362 - £25,368 per annum, pro rata
We require support from health care support workers who will be able to display excellent communication skills, de-escalation skills, observation and reporting skills to assist the registered nursing staff in the delivery of a person-centred therapeutic model of care. A multidisciplinary approach to care is adopted therefore it is essential that all staff can work as part of a team.
A caring, flexible and enthusiastic approach is essential as well as a genuine interest in working with people with a learning disability who may also have co-morbid mental health problems and who challenge services. Previous experience in working with people with a learning disability is desirable however not essential. We will ensure training and support is provided to all staff during your work opportunity at Loch View. Orientation shifts will be offered to ensure all interested staff are supported with an induction to the Loch View site.
