This post is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

The role of Care at Home Officer is integral to the management of the Lochaber Care at Home Service and as postholder you would be responsible for helping ensure service delivery over a large geographical area . You will be managing requests for service and implementing, reviewing and amending support packages in addition to working as part of the local Integrated Team & commissioning service from Independent Sector providers.

This is a challenging but rewarding role which requires the post holder to be able to demonstrate their ability to manage staff efficiently, make complex decisions and risk assess competing priorities. The postholder will require to be registered with the SSSC and have achieved their SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care, or demonstrate a willingness and ability to work towards this qualification within an agreed time scale.

The successful applicant will be fully supported into the role with a comprehensive & thorough period of induction and would offer a development opportunity for anyone working in Adult Social Care sector.
