An opportunity has arisen to join our existing team for a Senior HR Advisor, Medical Staffing on a fixed term/secondment basis until 30th November 2024. You will provide a professional and comprehensive Medical Staffing service to Medical Line Managers, staff, and professional staff representatives across the organisation. 

You will have demonstrable experience in the provision of Medical and Dental staff terms and conditions of service, in addition to HR advice promoting high quality practice in all areas. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of policies and procedures which meet best practice, current legislation and national policies and support the wider team in the delivery of policy training programmes.

 The successful candidate will be postgraduate CIPD qualified with significant practical HR and medical staffing experience within a large organisation, preferably gained within the public sector. Knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, terms and conditions of service and NHS Scotland Policies/PIN Guidelines is key, as is the ability to work on your own initiative, planning and organising your own workload.

 Excellent communication, influencing, mediation project and people management skills together with a solution focused approach are also essential in this role.
