We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse role within Ward 4A Gartnavel General Hospital. The successful candidate will work within the surgical specialties ward but also across the surgical floor. They will gain experience in many surgical specialties, including general surgery, ENT, Urology, Orthopaedics and radiology. Patients are a mix of day patients and short stay in-patients The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of the nursing team and will have the responsibility of assessment, delivery, and supervision of all care needs within an inpatient setting. You will carry out assessment of patient's needs, implementation and evaluation of care. You are required to be flexible, forward thinking, and able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment. You should possess excellent communication skills and sound decision making skills.
