The Capacity & Flow Team are a dedicated team who provide skilled and professional support in directing patient flow across the acute division.
Bed Buster Nursing Auxiliaries support patient flow as directed by the Capacity & Flow team to ensure timely bed availability, admission, discharge, transfer of patients across the hospital. This is an exciting role for an individual to be part of the Capacity and Flow team to facilitate patient flow.
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic nursing auxiliaries to become a member of the Bed Buster team at Victoria Hospital. You will contribute to the safe and timely transfer of patients across the hospital site with a focus on delivering patient centered and quality care. The aim of the team is to respond and transfer patients within the hospital and patient discharges from hospital.
As a member of this team you will support ward colleagues by preparing bed spaces for admission and following discharge. Support the Discharge Lounge by collecting and transferring patients from the wards to the Discharge Lounge for discharge, transfer and transport and support transfer to other wards or area’s within the hospital as required.
The successful candidate will maintain high standards of quality and patient centered care and communicate effectively to facilitate capacity and flow.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
