The Central Sterilising and Processing Department is looking for a proactive experienced person. You will be proficient in all aspects of the Decontamination process to ensure provision of a quality Sterile product. The post holder will have specific responsibility for the Supervision of all operatives ensuring continual compliance of departmental procedures whilst contributing to effective team working ensuring daily Theatre demands are met.
Flexibility in this role is essential as shift rotation and weekend working will be required in order to meet future planned service expansions.
Applicants must have relevant experience in Sterile Services and have achieved the required level of competence in their current post. You must also be able to confidently demonstrate a sound knowledge base of instrumentation as well as the decontamination process. You will also understand and continually demonstrate compliance with the requirements of ISO13485:2016 Medical Devices, be a good communicator demonstrating good interpersonal skills, demonstrate good time management skills and have completed or be currently working towards achieving the Institute of Decontamination Sciences Technical Certificate
