A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent post within the GP Unit, Blairgowrie Community Hospital for an individual committed to the delivery of high quality, safe and effective person-centred care. We are looking for strong leadership to support the evolving service models within the north locality and promote staff development to meet the changing needs of the local population.
The 17 bedded redesigned GP Unit provides rehabilitation, medical and palliative with a holistic multi-disciplinary approach. Our friendly team provides care to inpatients with the support of our Medicine for the Elderly medical team and wider multi-disciplinary team.
We work closely with our community teams, including Social Work, to enable a timely and seamless transition from hospital to home.
We have an ethos of continuing professional development and lifelong learning. It will be requisite to take forward service improvements and co-ordinate the continuing education and development of staff.
Blairgowrie is a developing Perthshire town surrounded by beautiful scenery and lots of things to see and do. It is perfect for hill walking, fishing, golf with all the facilities you would expect on your doorstep.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register
