The ARBI service has an exciting opportunity for a band 3 Clinical support worker to join a small team to help support people who have diagnosis of alcohol dependency who are at risk of developing alcohol related brain injury.  This service was developed in NHS FV, in partnership with the Integrated Joint Boards and the Alcohol and Drug Partnership. The post holder will support the development and implementation of this service, working closely with partners in acute services including rehabilitation services and independent sectors as well as families and carers.  This post is area wide throughout Forth Valley.

The successful candidate must possess good interpersonal and communication skills. Relevant experience in caring and managing people with substance use issues. There is requirement to visit people at home and support integration into their local community.  Candidates must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, innovative and responsible for ensuring their ongoing professional development.  Participation in service development is essential.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
