Applications are invited from experienced clinicians who have a broad range of clinical skills for Advanced Physiotherapist Rheumatology with MSK Physiotherapy Service in Unversity Hospital Ayr and Crosshouse. You will be highly skilled practitioner with extensive clinical experience and will provide direct clinical care, which encompasses expert physiotherapy assessment and treatment of patients with a range of MSK/Rheumatoloy conditions. You will provide highly specialist advice to other healthcare staff/patientss/cares/students and wpork as part of the rheumatology multi-disciplinary teams.
You will initate, coordinate and participate in the case management of patients with multiple complex pathologies. You will have appropriate postgraduate training to Masters Level relevant to the speciality of MSK/Rheumatoloy and have the ability to carry out steroid injections or be willing to train towards this as it is a requirement of this post. Continuous service improvement is an essential part of this role and you will monitor, evaluate and audit the service provision in conjunction with the line manager.
You will have a keen interest in personal development and in-service training and lead clinical audits and participate in national research projects.
It is essential that you have a Diploma/MSc/BScin Physiotherapy and are HCPC registered.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (work pattern to be agreed)
