Secondment/Fixed term for 12 months to improve service delivery.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a secondment/fixed term post within B12 in Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert due to internal promotion. B12 is a Surgical ward with 16 beds receiving directly from Theatres, SAU and A&E. 

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, kind, caring and hard working Registered Nurse to become a Senior Charge Nurse as part of a multidisciplinary team. A high level of interpersonal and communication and organisational skills are essential.  You must demonstrate an appetite for life long learning and able to provide evidence of your professional development. 

The candidate must be looking to contribute significantly to the development of acute surgical services in Forth Valley.  Your experience must demonstrate that you are a Clinical expert in your field and able to provide clinical leadership to the surgical team through support and education.  The candidate will also be expected to lead surveillance and audit and support their team with the core dimensions set out in Leading Better Care. Participation on Staff management rota is essential. 

It is expected that the candidate will have a clinical role and work some unsocial hours.
