We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern is Monday-Friday (37.5 hours).
We are recruiting for the role of a Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist within NHSGGC Travel Health Services. The post forms part of a newly formed Travel Health Team.
This role will manage the assessment and care of citizens who wish to travel to other countries utilising high levels of Specialist Clinical assessment, decision making and clinical judgement to formulate appropriate vaccination and treatment plans.
The post holder will be responsible for leading and developing the nurse led, service within the speciality to improve practice and work collaboratively across healthcare boundaries, implementing and evaluating evidence based standards, guidelines and Policies. This will include direct line management of the clinical team providing this service across NHSGGC. You must be registered with the NMC.
