We have an exciting opportunity to join the Health Improvement Service as a Health Improvement Officer within Clackmannanshire & Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership. The Health Improvement Officer post will have responsibility for a portfolio of health improvement programmes across one locality with the overall aim of improving health and reducing health inequalities, aligned to the themes and outcomes within our Strategic Commissioning Plan. 

The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with skills and experience in partnership working, project management and evaluation. They will be expected to deliver improved health outcomes through locality working, devise and deliver training, and have the ability to use initiative and take projects through to completion.  They will be required to work with partners effectively, engaging, influencing, capacity building and supporting local communities to improve and promote health and wellbeing, and reduce health inequalities.

The post holder will have a high degree of autonomy and need to demonstrate initiative and ability to prioritise, holding high standards for themselves and others with excellent attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level in a relevant specialist area. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
